Native to Central and South America, Trinidad & Tobago.
Description
The Euterpe precatoria is solitary, evergreen canopy palm that grows anywhere from 15- 60 feet tall and about 6-12 inches in diameter. The crownshaft is yellowish/green in color, with a beautiful cascade of smooth green leaves approximately 13 feet in length.
Culture
This is a fast growing, subtropical palm that thrives in moist, warm climates where temps never fall below 50F. It prefers a position sheltered from the sun with plenty of moisture, being able to tolerate full sun once fully mature.

A gorgeous, extremely elegant palm with similar, slightly smaller fruits to the Euterpe oleracea 'Acai Palm'. A stunning addition to any tropical landscape!!!
