Habitat and Distribution
This stately and endangered palm is endemic to the island of Viti Levu, Fiji.
Description
Neoveitchia storckii ia a solitary, moderately stout palm with a “mocha” colored trunk on an expanded base, can grow upwards to 40 feet. It has a full leafy canopy of 12-15 fronds; the fronds are up to 16 feet in length with heavy leaflets that arch out in a characteristic lateral twist. The crown shaft is glossy and nearly black in color.

Distinctively tropical this palm requires good amount of water to thrive but from first hand growing experience, not picky regarding soil.

Ornamentally this palm checks all the boxes, nearly black crownshaft, mocha colored ringed trunk, large deep green feathery leaflets.
Super hard to find a rare and stunning specimen that stands out in a crowd.

Return policy: If for any reason your order arrives in poor condition due to negligence on our part, we will gladly refund the purchase price or send a replacement. Buyers must please send a notification within ( 1 ) day of arrival describing the problem accompanied by photos of the un-altered plant in its original packing material.
Plant / tree propagation is from seed unless method such as cutting or grafting is stated.
