Calyptrocalyx leptostachys is native only to the Rainforests of Mt Yule in Papua New Guinea
Description
A very small, solitary palm - grows to less than 3 feet! Bifid v-shaped, undivided, new emergent leaf is reddish orange, with faint light green striping. Leaf size is large in comparison to the palm.
Culture
Near full shade until mature, then partial shade, consistently moist soil and a well drained position. Cold Hardiness Zone 10b and higher.
