Description
A rare variety of fan palm, renowned for its mottled foliage. It is native to the forests of Sarawak and Kalimantan where it can be found growing in deep shade. Old plants eventually grow a slender trunk and can reach up to 3 meters in height.
Culture
Tropical Moist Forest, A tropical lowland plant requiring high humidity and a minimum temperature of 20 C for good growth. Prefers rich but well-drained soil that is slightly acidic. Cold Hardiness Zone: 10b
