This massive Fiji / Samoan Dwarf coconut will grow quickly to produce a prolific amount of massive coconuts at a very young age while remaining within easy reach. The typical “tall” coconut palm variety will grow to 80 feet tall while these “dwarf” varieties will top out at around 30 feet.
The Dwarf Fiji / Samoan Coconut is hearty and has far better cold tolerance than the Jamaican Tall. It has a very “full” tropical and ornamental canopy. Healthy and vigorous, ready for planting outdoors in sub-tropical or warmer climates. The ambitious grower can keep and grow these coconut plants in a container anywhere with controlled temperature, and humidity. This coconut does very well in a container but in colder climates it must be moved to a protected location to avoid temperatures approaching freezing and or low humidity.
