‘Sweet Tart’ Mango Tree Professionally Grafted

Native to Boynton Beach, FL, a cultivar created by renowned mango breeder, Gary Zill.

This vigorous compact mango has a slight vertical growth habit. Fruit is small, orange, medium-firm and fiberless. The Indo-Chinese flavor explosion is both rich and complex. The riper the fruit the more the ‘Sweet’ outweighs the ‘Tart’. The fragrant, fiberless flesh gets yellower and sweeter the longer it ripens, and ends at a warm golden hue with a complex flavor blast.

Fruit ripens midseason - between July / August. The compact size of this mango makes it suitable for container growing. It will thrive in full sun and a wide variety of soils as long as drainage is excellent.

The grafted sweet tart mango tree combines the best qualities of two distinct mango varieties, resulting in a truly exceptional fruit-bearing tree. This hybrid marvel not only boasts the delectable sweetness and tantalizing tartness characteristic of its namesake fruit but also exhibits enhanced disease resistance and vigor. A must have for mango lovers!
